Tutorial: build and update a Wiki page

Create a knowledge page from sources, then review an evidence-based update.

On this page

You will create a Wiki page with traceable sources and review one proposed update.

Screenshots show the Chinese application interface in a Test environment with example data.

Prepare sources

Choose two readable sources on the same topic. You can reuse the research tutorial notes, but label them as fictional exercise material in the page.

Configure the Wiki organization model first. Explicitly selected sources make the initial exercise easier to inspect.

Build a knowledge page

  1. Add the two sources to Wiki from the Library or Wiki's source picker.
  2. Describe the goal, such as comparing collaboration methods while retaining conditions and unknowns.
  3. Inspect organization records and review any pending proposals.
  4. Open the page and verify at least two citations against the originals.

A page appearing is not sufficient; its content must match the selected evidence.

Before any Wiki pages exist, use the add button to select sources. An empty page does not indicate a failed run.

  1. 1Use the add button beside the Wiki title.
  2. 2Filter by topic after pages have been created.

Add the first Wiki sources

Before any Wiki pages exist, use the add button to select sources. An empty page does not indicate a failed run.

Propose and review an update

Select the whole Wiki page and ask:

Propose a new section called Questions still to verify, using only existing sources. Do not present inference as confirmed fact.

Open pending proposals, compare the changes, and check that existing evidence was retained. Apply an appropriate proposal, then reopen the page.

Check the result

  • Original sources remain available.
  • New claims stay within what the evidence supports.
  • You can distinguish a generated proposal from an applied edit.
  • Existing valid knowledge and citations still work after the update.

Resolve conflicts rather than overwriting them simply to finish the exercise.
