Create a project and organize work

Keep related sources, documents, and tasks together.

On this page

Use a project for a research topic, an article, or ongoing work. Define the goal and deliverable before collecting material.

Screenshots show the Chinese application interface in a Test environment with example data.

Create a project

  1. Open Projects and create a project with a name.
  2. Describe the goal, deliverable, and output location in project settings.
  3. Add relevant sources from the Library and open one to verify the association.
  4. Create a project document for a plan or draft, and start a conversation using the relevant sources.

Project membership does not automatically authorize modifying original files. Agent-assisted organization still requires a change preview and confirmation.

Project list: create a project or open an existing one to continue organizing work.

  1. 1Create a project with a clear name.
  2. 2Open an existing project and check its documents and sources.

Keep work organized

Record the research question in a project document and explicitly select sources for each task. Continue an existing conversation or create separate conversations for different pieces of work. Use research to investigate multiple sources.

Complete or archive

Manage active, completed, and archived states in project settings. Archiving retains documents, shared sources, and tasks, and you can reactivate the project. Renaming also retains its existing directory and historical references.

Archiving organizes work; it does not replace a backup or establish that outputs have been reviewed.

Next step

Follow the research tutorial to produce a report you can verify.

Configure model, media, and connected services as needed. See each article for requirements.
