Generate summaries and mind maps

Extract key points and structure, then check coverage against the original.

On this page

Summaries help identify key points; mind maps organize relationships. Both need readable source text.

Screenshots show the Chinese application interface in a Test environment with example data.

Generate from a source

  1. Open a source and confirm text extraction has finished.
  2. Use the source context area's summary or mind-map action.
  3. Check the summary model channel in Settings, which handles these text organization tasks.
  4. Inspect the result and compare central ideas and limitations with the original.

You can also select sources in the workspace and request a structured summary or outline in a specified file format.

Ask beside the sample source. The question shown is an unsent draft, not a generated answer.

  1. 1Reader tools appear above the source and vary by content type.
  2. 2Enter a question in the side panel and request source citations.
  3. 3Check the source, agent, and model before sending.

Request a summary beside its source

Ask beside the sample source. The question shown is an unsent draft, not a generated answer.

Refine the output

If the summary is too broad, ask for chapter-level coverage and identify missing material. For a mind map, verify the outline before inspecting its visual presentation.

A Markdown outline and a graphical mind map are different representations. A text outline in the workspace does not establish delivery of an image file. Confirm the required capability and output file when you need an image or another format.

Check and save

Verify at least one central conclusion and one limiting condition. Make sure assumptions in the original have not become asserted facts. Save a lasting result as an output or add it to the Library.
