Third-Party AI Services

How AI Features Work

Atlasnote's AI features (Atlas AI) require you to provide your own API keys from third-party AI providers. When you use AI features:

  1. You configure your own API keys from providers like OpenAI, Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude), DeepSeek, etc.
  2. Your content is sent directly from your device to the AI provider
  3. Atlasnote does not route your content through our servers
  4. We never see or store the content you send to AI providers

Your Responsibility

When using AI features, your content is subject to the privacy policies of the AI providers you use:

| Provider | Privacy Policy | |----------|----------------| | OpenAI | openai.com/privacy | | Google (Gemini) | policies.google.com/privacy | | Anthropic (Claude) | anthropic.com/privacy | | DeepSeek | deepseek.com/privacy |

Important considerations:

  • Review each provider's data retention and training policies
  • Some providers may use your data to improve their models (check their policies)
  • You can choose providers with stronger privacy commitments
  • If you don't use AI features, no content leaves your device
