Troubleshoot common problems

Check configuration, sources, execution, and saving according to where the failure occurs.

On this page

Identify the failed step first. Keep the error and diagnostic identifier, then try a small reproduction without duplicating an active task.

Installation, account, and model

ProblemFirst checks
Incompatible installationmacOS 15+, Apple Silicon, and the Pro download.
Missing invitation emailAddress, spam folder, and resend waiting period.
Model authorization failureKey, API address, and access to that model.
Timeout or exhausted allowanceNetwork, service status, and provider account allowance.
Old model after changing settingsExisting conversations retain their choice; inspect it or start a new one.

Use a short request from initial model setup to verify connectivity.

Import, retrieval, and citations

For empty content, check extraction status, file format, and size. If a webpage import captures a login page, use a readable source or authorized local copy.

For missing search results, inspect filters and background indexing. Semantic fallback does not mean all keyword search failed. For incomplete citations, check that the task read the actual passage rather than only locating a search hit.

Execution and output

Resolve specific approvals when waiting for confirmation. Inspect existing outputs and the working directory when verification is required. Closing the page does not cancel a task.

If an answer has no file, request a saved, registered output. Retry saving when only file delivery failed; this does not regenerate content. See output management.

Automation and media

For missed schedules, check the running device and application, time zone, next run, authorization expiry, and usage cap. For media failures, test the required speech, image, or video service rather than only the chat model.

If the issue persists

Prepare version, steps, expected result, and actual result using support guidance. Share redacted diagnostic information, not keys or your entire private library.

Configure model, media, and connected services as needed. See each article for requirements.
