Tutorial: produce a multi-source research report

Compare sources, preserve disagreements, and deliver inspectable conclusions.

On this page

Use two short sources to investigate one question and produce a report that separates facts, inference, and unknowns.

Screenshots show the Chinese application interface in a Test environment with example data.

Prepare two sources

Use your own material, or save each fictional practice note below as a separate source:

Practice source A: A team holds a project review every Friday and records completed work and reasons for delays. Members want shorter meetings, but no average meeting duration is provided.

Practice source B: The team tries written progress reports before the meeting and discusses only disagreements. After two weeks, two members say preparation improved. No feedback from other members is reported.

Create a project for collaboration-method research and associate both sources. These are fictional exercise inputs, not real research evidence.

Define the research scope

Choose the research workflow, select both sources, and use source-only mode. Send:

Compare the two review methods. List known facts, differences, possible recommendations, and missing evidence. Do not estimate unavailable numbers. Keep a source for every central conclusion.

Detail of the research composer: the source count is zero. Select sources and review web access before sending.

  1. 1Choose Deep research.
  2. 2Select sources and choose source-only or web access.
  3. 3Check the model; test-model is only a fixture name.

Review scope before starting research

Detail of the research composer: the source count is zero. Select sources and review web access before sending.

Review the report

Look for invented meeting durations, two people's feedback being described as unanimous, or a two-week trial becoming a long-term conclusion. Identify problematic passages and request a corrected version.

If you continue with real sources and online research, reauthorize network scope and check source dates rather than mixing new internet claims into the original source-only exercise.

Save and verify

Open or download the report from its run record and confirm:

  • Both sources are correctly cited.
  • Facts, recommendations, and unresolved questions are distinct.
  • There are no invented numbers or unsupported generalizations.
  • You can find the report again in the project's associated work records.

Test research report: check quotations in the side panel, then download the report or store it in the Library. Its sample text is not a real research finding.

  1. 1Open sources and evidence in the side panel.
  2. 2Compare each conclusion with its original evidence.
  3. 3After checking, download the report or store it in the Library.
