Complete one page review first
After installation, choose “Inspect one public page,” fill in its URL, query and goal, then verify the observed fields before choosing the first edit. Move to traffic, ads or CRM tasks when the relevant accounts are available, reading only what the question needs.
Pick a task and get started
The complete first-use path below is for Claude Code. Install the plugin and send the single-page task. Authorize NotFair and verify platform access when a task needs live accounts.
Bring a full page URL, target query, market and desired visitor action. Start with the page and current search results; Search Console is optional.
Install in Claude Code
Run these lines inside Claude Code, not a system shell. Restart or start a fresh session as the host directs, then confirm the notfair plugin and skills are visible. This page reviews 0.27.17; these commands install the marketplace’s available version rather than pinning this commit. Use the author’s host-specific instructions elsewhere.
Read the author’s setup guide/plugin marketplace add nowork-studio/notfair-plugin /plugin install notfair@nowork-studioVerify a connection before account work
Confirm that the host loaded a server named NotFair. Authorize it through the host’s MCP authentication flow, choose the correct workspace and connect the required platform in NotFair. Then send this access check. Public-page analysis can start without account connections; do not add redundant per-platform MCP servers.
Read the single-connection and upgrade guideCheck the current NotFair connection: show the selected workspace and the [accounts/properties/sites/locations] I can access on [platform] for this task. Read identity and access scope only; do not audit or change anything. If setup is missing, follow the service’s current returned guidance. Do not guess IDs, permissions or tool names.Give your AI this first task
Replace bracketed inputs with real material. /notfair: is the Claude Code invocation used here; other hosts discover and invoke the same skills through their own interface.
/notfair:seo-page [full page URL] Target query: [query]. Market and language: [region, language]. Desired visitor action: [book/buy/sign up]. Audit this page only. Retrieve its HTML and body and record when they were fetched. If rendering or authentication hides the body, state the gap rather than issuing a complete content score. Inspect current search results and accessible competing pages to assess the page format and search intent. Deliver a Markdown audit with the observed title, description, H1, canonical, robots directives, structured data and content evidence. Prioritize 3–5 issues with before/after drafts. If using the author’s scoring rubric, show the evidence and unassessed items. Separate crawl/index directives from confirmed Google indexing state. Without GSC, URL Inspection or performance measurements, do not invent rankings, clicks, indexing results or Core Web Vitals. Give a verification method for the first proposed change. Do not edit the site yet.
Check what you receive
- A URL-specific audit whose main findings can be checked against the page, search results or retrieved response.
- 3–5 changes with current values, proposed values, rationale and checks; the first is ready for the page owner to review.
- Spot-check HTML fields and competitor content. Scores describe the author’s rubric, and missing evidence stays distinct from a measured zero.
More about this skill
NotFair is an open-source plugin that brings marketing workflows into an AI assistant. The reviewed version has 48 skill entry points across SEO, AI-search content, paid media, analytics, WordPress and GoHighLevel. It suits people with a site, content or advertising accounts who want to turn a broad performance question into inspectable evidence and a specific next action. You supply the business goal, real material and decision criteria.
Skills describe how the assistant should reason and deliver work; live account operations come from NotFair’s hosted MCP service. Public pages, repositories and supplied exports can support parts of an analysis. Live GA4, Search Console, ad and CRM data depend on the accounts and permissions connected to the selected workspace. Installing the skills neither grants every platform capability nor deploys the complete NotFair backend locally.
Typical outputs include a page-level SEO change list, a GSC-based content calendar, an ad intervention card or a WordPress diff. Workflows call for checking targets, current values and evidence, agreeing on a change, then reading the resulting state. They cannot establish the cause of growth, guarantee search rankings or turn a plausible report into proof that an operation ran.
