Establish the product facts, then complete one marketing task
Marketing Skills
Positioning, Copy and Conversion
Corey Haines’s collection stores positioning, customer language and validated lessons in a shared file, then applies them to page copy, conversion reviews, SEO, experiments and channel work. Choose the members you need to produce drafts, audits and implementation plans.

Apply the same product facts to one page or one experiment first
Create the context and check the audience, differentiators, evidence and goal. Then choose the skill that matches the immediate job. A page revision or focused conversion review is easy to inspect; record the lessons that evidence supports before expanding to more channels.
Pick a task and get started
This page uses the author’s recommended Skills CLI route. Install in a local terminal in the target project, select your agent, then start with product context. The prompts name skills in natural language to avoid mixing client-specific command prefixes.
Start here on a new project. Have the assistant organize existing project and customer material into the file other skills share. If one exists, update only the relevant sections.
Install marketing skills in your project
The default route is Skills CLI. Run this in a local terminal in the target project and select your client and required members; include product-marketing for first use. The prompts name skills in natural language. See the page notes for noninteractive Claude Code installation.

Run product-marketing first and review the product, audience, primary action and evidence in .agents/product-marketing.md. Create and confirm the file if missing; preserve versions and history when updating. Subsequent requests can say “use copywriting” or “use cro” without repeating the entire brief.

Use marketingskills product-marketing to create the marketing context for this project. First look for .agents/product-marketing.md and the documented legacy locations. If it exists, summarize its current version and recent changes. Otherwise, draft from the project README, website copy, product notes and attached customer interviews. Capture the product, audience, buying roles, differentiation, objections, customer language, brand voice, evidence and primary conversion goal. Separate facts, inferences and missing material. Preserve verbatim interview language; do not invent customers, performance figures or prices. Show me the complete draft for review, then save the confirmed version to .agents/product-marketing.md with its version, date and Changelog. A new document may start with empty Learnings; preserve existing entries and history, and do not record today’s guesses as validated lessons.
Check what you receive
- A reusable .agents/product-marketing.md covering the product and audience, language, supporting evidence and goals. Inapplicable B2B-persona or paid-ad sections can be omitted.
- A new document has v1, a date and an initial changelog entry. Substantive updates increment the version, explain the change and preserve earlier history.
- Check every fact against its source and confirm the file was saved. Update it when positioning, prices or the target customer change, before drafting the next marketing deliverable.
More about this skill
Marketing Skills is for technical marketers, founders and teams working with coding agents. It separates page, content, search, channel, retention and sales work into individual skills; the catalog checked here contains 52. Select by the job you need to finish, such as rewriting a homepage, reviewing a demo form or designing an experiment, without learning the entire catalog first.
product-marketing creates the shared .agents/product-marketing.md file. It captures product and audience information, competitive differences, buying objections, customer language, brand voice, proof and goals. Other members read that file before working. They do not automatically repeat the positioning interview or know business facts that were never recorded.
The context can be drafted from the repository and existing copy, then reviewed by you. It includes document versions and a changelog. Learnings preserves supported test results and explicit decisions so future drafts respect prior evidence. Unvalidated ideas should remain hypotheses rather than becoming permanent facts.
Members deliver different kinds of work: copywriting produces page text, cro supplies recommendations and test ideas, ab-testing handles experimental design and analysis, and seo-audit produces traceable findings. Separate integration guides and CLI scripts can access services when the environment and permissions are available. Account connections, website implementation and publication each need evidence of what was actually completed.
