Kimi
Moonshot AI's assistant, built around long-document work and agentic task execution.

Kimi started as the assistant people reached for when a document was too long for everything else, and that heritage still shapes it. The current product wraps that reading capability in agent features — deep research that collects and organises sources, scheduled tasks, and output as slides, docs or sheets rather than as chat. The framing is knowledge work with a deliverable at the end, which is a narrower and more useful target than a general assistant. The mainland moonshot.cn address now redirects to the same site.
Best for

Why it matters
It grew out of a long-context reading tool, so its agent features are aimed at knowledge work rather than at chat.
