Atlasnote is our own product, so treat this entry as a description rather than a recommendation. It is a local-first reading studio: you import the articles, books, PDFs and videos you are working through, and it produces transcripts, summaries and notes that link back to the source. The design bet is that the value of a knowledge system comes from keeping the derived notes next to the material they came from, on your own machine, rather than scattering them across services. Available for macOS and Windows.
