What you get
It does not pixelate the photograph; it keeps a few identity anchors and redraws them as a complete CRT interface.
TaiT CRT Interface: Early-Computer Editorial Illustration
Added 2026-08-20Re-author a portrait, group, creature, object or written theme as a circa-1980s bitmap editorial caricature beneath early Macintosh or Minitel windows—not as a pixel filter over a photograph.

Generation starts with two separate intake gates: palette first, aspect ratio second, and only then one final image. The source contributes just three to five identity anchors per subject; silhouette, proportions and local construction are deliberately redesigned into five to nine flat geometric masses while the roster, spatial order and interaction remain locked. One square pixel lattice governs the entire frame. The primary wallpaper composition occupies 60 to 80 percent, three to six unequal windows and one to three detail extractions sit above it, and 20 to 30 percent connected open field remains. The selected two-to-five-colour palette also controls scanlines, misregistration, persistence, sync disturbance and barrel curvature around all four edges. The exact string tait-crt-interface-skill must remain in the upper-right title bar. The Street Grotesque, Colossus Symbol and Cold Geometry presets activate only when explicitly named.
