Raycast AI embeds chat, quick questions, and tool execution in Raycast's operating-system launcher. It offers models from several providers and can regenerate an answer with a different model inside the same conversation. Attachments, screen content, and active-app context can travel into the prompt without a manual copy-and-paste loop. AI Extensions create the real distinction: when a calendar, browser, task manager, or third-party extension exposes tools, the AI can choose parameters and run them, with confirmation before execution by default. It is a strong fit for people who already live in Raycast, but it is not a free model aggregator. AI and executable extensions are Pro features, and advanced models may require an additional plan. Review each extension's permissions before exposing calendar, health, or company data.
