Why it matters

It does more than deliver a summary: it preserves a path from each conclusion back to the meeting evidence and turns calls into queryable knowledge.

Granola

Turn transcripts, personal notes, and calendar context into traceable meeting knowledge you can query.

Granola interface

Granola combines a calendar event, meeting transcript, and the rough notes you write during the call into structured notes. Each enhanced point can be inspected against its source in the transcript or raw notes, and you can edit, change templates, or regenerate when the first pass misses the point. Granola Chat works beyond one call: query selected meetings, a folder, or your wider meeting history to recover decisions, extract actions, identify recurring themes, and draft follow-ups. Recipes save repeatable prompts for that post-meeting work. The capture-to-structure-to-query loop makes it unusually close to a knowledge system, but meeting data is sensitive by default. Confirm participant notice, organizational recording policy, and sharing boundaries first; the amount of history available to Chat also varies by plan.
