  1. Install the skill

    Run the installation command in a terminal and select your AI client. Install Node.js first so npx is available. Each command installs only the selected skill.

    npx skills add https://github.com/JuliusBrussee/caveman --skill caveman

  2. Give your AI this first task

    After installing, attach your materials and send the task. These examples use slash commands; in Codex, replace the leading / with $. Send stop caveman to return to normal replies.

    /caveman Shorten my attached engineering report into completed changes, actual verification, remaining issues and next steps. Remove pleasantries and repetition. Keep commands, paths, numbers and uncertainty intact. Write clearly in English.

  3. Check what you receive

    • A short, readable report with a clear conclusion.
    • Completed and unfinished work stay distinct, with commands, numbers and essential conditions preserved.
